Tenders and Expressions of Interest
The Local Government Act 1993 and Local Government (General) Regulations 2015 outline how Councils need to manage their procurement activities to ensure fairness and transparency. They also ensure there is adequate opportunity for suppliers to bid, be awarded and engage with Councils in Tasmania.
Current tenders and expressions of interest are advertised below:
Madison Lyden Park Amenities Block - C-25-B-003 Re-Tender
Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors for the construction of an amenities block at Madison Lyden Park, Sorell.
Tenders must be clearly marked “Confidential – Tender C-25-B-003” and deposited in the Tender Box at the Sorell Council Office, 47 Cole Street, Sorell, or received by mail before the closing date.
Tenders will be accepted up until 2.00pm on Monday 2 March 2026.

Tender Notification – Madison Lyden Park Amenities Block – C-25-B-003
Flyway Park Pump Track - C-26-LI-005
Tenders are invited from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the design, construction and commissioning of a multi-age, multi-skilled asphalt pump track at Flyway Park, Midway Point.
The project includes, but is not limited to, the construction of an asphalt sealed pump track, appropriate drainage, installation of a roofed shelter structure, retrofit the irrigation system, installation of solar lighting and access paths.
A non-mandatory pre-tender site meeting is scheduled for 10:00am on Tuesday 10 February 2026.
Tenders must be clearly marked “Confidential – Tender C-26-LI-005” and deposited in the Tender Box at the Sorell Council Office, 47 Cole Street, Sorell, or received by mail before the closing date.
Tenders will be accepted up until 2.00pm on Wednesday 4 March 2026.
