Southern Beaches Plan: Next stage of community engagement now open!
Sorell Council is inviting the community to get involved in the next stage of engagement for the Southern Beaches Plan, which will help guide the future of Dodges Ferry, Lewisham, Carlton, Carlton River and Primrose Sands.
Earlier this year, more than 300 community members shared their ideas and local knowledge through the first community survey. That feedback has helped identify the key issues, opportunities and values that matter most to the community and has informed the development of a Discussion Paper.
The next stage of engagement is now open and runs until 12 August 2026.
Community members are invited to:
- Read the Discussion Paper and supporting reports
- Complete the online survey
- Visit one of our community pop-up sessions
- Attend the community workshop
Whether you live, work or spend time in the Southern Beaches, your feedback will help shape the future direction of the Southern Beaches Plan.
