TRAINEE MUNICIPAL WORKER – SEALED ROADS (CERT III IN CIVIL CONSTRUCTION)
We’re excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated individual to kick-start their career as a Trainee Municipal Worker – Sealed Roads. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning on the job, and contributing to projects that make a real difference in the community.
As a trainee, you’ll be supported to develop practical, industry-ready skills in road construction and maintenance while completing a Certificate III in Civil Construction. You’ll work alongside experienced team members, gaining exposure to bituminous surfacing, plant operation, safety practices, and day-to-day depot operations.
What we’re looking for…
– A demonstrated interest in Civil Construction.
– A willingness to learn and follow directions and instructions from a supervisor and other employees.
– A commitment to study for a Certificate III in Civil Construction – on the job and off the job training.
– An understanding of the importance of complying with all Work, Health and Safety requirements.
– A current manual motor vehicle licence or working towards the attainment of one.
