Planner/Senior Planner/Graduate
Council is seeking a Planner, Senior Planner or Graduate Planner to join our dynamic planning team. This part-time position is based in Sorell, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and growth of the local area.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Providing professional planning advice and assessments for a variety of development applications, including residential, commercial and community projects
- Conducting site inspections and preparing detailed planning reports and recommendations for Council’s consideration
- Liaising with applicants, stakeholders and the community to understand and address planning-related matters
- Assisting with the implementation of Council’s strategic planning initiatives and policies
- Staying up-to-date with changes in planning legislation and best practices
