MUNICIPAL WORKER – UNSEALED ROADS
Join our Roads & Stormwater team and help keep our community moving. As a Municipal Worker in the Unsealed Roads crew, you’ll play an important hands-on role maintaining and improving the region’s unsealed road network. If you enjoy physical outdoor work, operating heavy plant and equipment and being part of a supportive team that takes pride in delivering quality results for the community, this job is for you.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…
– Maintaining and repairing unsealed roads across the municipality.
– Operating heavy plant, including graders, trucks, rollers and other machinery.
– Carrying out drainage works, pothole repairs, levelling, compaction and general civil construction tasks.
– Supporting safe work sites through traffic control and adherence to WHS procedures.
– Working as part of a hardworking team delivering quality results for the community.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR…
– Experience in civil construction or road maintenance (5+ years preferred).
– Proven competency in grader operation (essential).
– HR and HC licences.
– Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
– Commitment to safe work practices and working outdoors in all conditions.
