WORKS SUPERVISOR – STORMWATER

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Works Supervisor – Stormwater to lead our Stormwater Crew in maintaining and improving Council’s stormwater network. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll coordinate day-to-day operations, supervise staff and contractors, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You’ll work closely with the Manager – Roads & Stormwater and other Works Supervisors to deliver essential services that support our growing community.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…
– Lead and supervise the Stormwater Crew and contractors to deliver maintenance and improvement programs.
– Coordinate inspections, maintenance and repairs across Council’s stormwater network.
– Plan and allocate resources, monitor work quality and maintain accurate asset and project records.
– Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring WHS and environmental requirements are met.
– Support continuous improvement, staff development and efficient service delivery.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR…
You’ll be an experienced supervisor with strong leadership skills and practical knowledge of stormwater maintenance and civil operations. You’ll be confident leading teams, managing resources and working collaboratively to achieve operational outcomes. Experience supervising infrastructure maintenance, a commitment to workplace safety and the ability to identify and resolve issues are essential. Local government experience and knowledge of computerised works management systems will be highly regarded.
