Sorell Community Bus

Sorell Council has purchased a new 12 seater community bus which is available for hire by not-for-profit community organisations.

This service is designed to give groups access to transport at a reasonable cost. It is available on either a half or full day basis for permanent or casual purposes. Organisations are required to supply a bus driver who holds a current Light Rigid extension on their licence and an Ancillary certificate. An information booklet with full details and application forms can be found below.

To assist organisations in meeting these requirements Council will reimburse all costs associated with obtaining the licence. If your organisation is interested in taking advantage of this opportunity please phone Council on 03 6269 0000 and ask to speak to Mike Percey.
