Welcome to Sorell Council Childrens Services!

Sorell Council Childrens Services incorporates a number of quality and accredited child care services for children and families within the Sorell Municipality and surrounding areas. The child care options we offer include:

 
  • Malunna Child Care Centre
  • Outside School Hours Care
  • (Including After School and Vacation Care)

These services cater for children ranging from birth to twelve years.

A number of other services including Family Day Care also operate in and around the Sorell Municipality. For more information about these services contact the Child Care Hotline on 1800 670 305

 

Malunna Child Care Centre

 

Malunna Child Care Centre is the base of operation for all our services and provides information about and support for all of these services, which cater for the individual needs of children and their families.

The office staff and carers across all services are committed to providing stimulating and nurturing environments that provide opportunities for positive relationships to be developed and experiences that foster all areas of children's development.

Our services are licensed by the Tasmanian Department of Education Child Care Unit and Malunna Child Care Centre and Sorell Outside School Hours Care are accredited by the National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC).
