Immunisation Session Details

Immunisation sessions will be conducted on the second Tuesday of every month at:

Dodges Ferry:St Johns Ambulance Facility
Tigerhead Road
Time9.30 - 10.00

SorellSorell Community Health Centre
Child Health Clinic Rooms
Cole Street
Time10.30 - 11.30

The following childhood vaccinations are available for free at Council clinics:

  • Diphtheria, Pertussis (whooping cough) & Tetanus
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella
  • Poliomyelitis
  • Haemophilus influenza B (Hib)
  • Hepatitis B (infants)
  • Meningococcal C

The following adult vaccinations are also available at no cost:

  • Adult Diphtheria & Tetanus
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella
  • Influenza (annual for those aged 65 years and over)

Other vaccines available at cost include: Hepatitis A and B, chicken pox and Influenza for those aged under 65yrs.
Please contact Council on (03) 6269 0000 prior to a clinic to arrange for these vaccines to be available.

Parents of children aged 0-6 years, please ensure you have your Medicare card with you in order for vaccinations to be reported to the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register.
